Aleksandr Khaimov, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in adult reconstructive surgery. Dr. Khaimov provides personalized, conservative treatment for patients ages 20 and older at Quality Orthopedics and Complete Joint Care in Forest Hills, New York.
Dr. Khaimov graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Queens College, City University of New York in Flushing, New York. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Prior to his education in New York, Dr. Khaimov attended Andizhan State Medical Institute in Andizhan, Uzbekistan.
He continued to pursue advanced training at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York, including a traditional osteopathic internship, general surgery residency, and orthopedic surgery residency. Then, Dr. Khaimov went on to finish fellowship training in adult reconstructive surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Here, he trained in complex primary and revision joint surgeries, including computer-navigated procedures.
Dr. Khaimov speaks fluent English and Russian. He’s board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the American Osteopathic Association.
